tuition is increasing and it is becoming harder to pay it off :'(
any suggestions loans or anything that I could get?
i applied for so many loans with all denials grrrrr >:(

Loans are a bad idea if you can avoid them. I think you should try getting any job that pays under the table and use the money to finance your education.

You're not like the other kids. The sooner you realize this, the more focused you can be on your goals. What I mean is that you're not going to be able to get a legit job, apply for loans, Federal Aid, or have rich parents (well maybe you do). You have to do the shit work - wash dishes, work constructions, wash cars, wash dogs (a lot of washing), and do absolutely what can do to survive at sub-par pay.

For a while I been thinking about organizing a student run promotions company that uses all of it's profits to give scholarships to undocumented immigrants. I know that does not help you but I wanted to run that idea in here and see if any of you have opinions about it.

get a job and do odd jobs as an extra..in the winter i collect sage brush seed, shovel snow, move furniture, etc theres lots of ways you can make money you just have to get off your butt

Talk to financial aid about receiving institutional grants or scholarships. They have plenty of money at the beginning of the school year, you just have to ask. Some scholarships are need-based only, but since you can't fill out the FAFSA, you have to explain to financial aid that you do have a need but can't demonstrate it. Their are ways around this, like writing a notarized letter stating need, but you'll never know if you don't ask!

Btw, that is how I'm going through college.

yup u guys are right getting a job working hard, etc got me through 2 and a half years of college
i actually left my job after my employer asked for proof of my eligibility to work :( so i gave them a excuse that im quitting to go to school lol
