I'm so done.

Fuck everything and everybody. I can't do this anymore. I don't know what else to do, what else to turn. I will go back if things don't get better. I'm running out of money for college, I can't get a job. I'm barely scrapping by. What happened to the country of prosperity and abundance? I'm losing the battle, and nobody else seems to be advocating for our cause. I'm losing hope. I don't know what else to do. I'm so close to just finishing everything. Please, I need somebody, anybody.

Hey, just for your information, about 7 percent of the world has college degrees.
Considering you can subtract children and teens from that equation, that's a pretty damn crazy fact.

Listen, If you can finish college, please do. Regardless of how tough the present gets. Just finish and get that diploma to your name. After that, then you can start thinking of going back to whichever country you are from.

Just keep in mind that people would kill to be attending college and "scraping by" knowing that it's worth something, rather than just bills.

That would be most European countries, Canada, or Australia.

Sometimes I wished I lived in a country like that. Its a very miserable life, but the government takes care of you.
Right now i'm worrying where i'm getting money for my next meal.

I second this,

It does not matter when you finish, just finish. Take a leave of absence while you straighten your situation out, dedicate some time to finding the means to afford the classes that you need to graduate and get that degree. For all the stress and anxiety and trouble that you are going through, it would really suck if you left without anything to show for it all.

I am finding many people in this situation are taking a lot longer to graduate, but the point is that they are doing everything they can to get those degrees. At this point I will be graduating a year and a half later due to fewer classes I took and leave of absences, I know other people how are in their sophomore/junior year that started at the same time and have been taking very few classes while they juggle jobs.

Re: I'm so done.

If it makes you feel better, although I was able to fix my status a year ago, I had to stop going to a big state uni after two years because my parents and I just couldn't afford it anymore. I wasn't able to qualify for financial aid (for ridiculous reasons), and I've now been gone since winter '09. I thought it was the end of the world, but guess what? It wasn't. I've been working part time and I take one or two classes at a cc. Now I'm applying to the program I always wanted to, two years later. My friends all graduated last June and I didn't, it was hard for a little while, but I got over it.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that we've been here, and while it seems like the worst thing in the world, there are other things you can do to pass time. You can work and take just one class. Also look at payment options. I've been to two community colleges and both allow me to pay over 3 payments. It only amounted to maybe $200-250 per month per class. You can pay that yourself with a part time job.

Please keep your chin up...
