What if you were US citizens would you even consider being part of the "DREAM Act" cause. Would you help organize and be part of the movement for the undocumented illegal youth. Or would you have second thoughts, would you even care, or would you just be too busy to take part? What are your thoughts?

I agree. I would have NO interest in politics whatsoever and I think that being in this position has helped me tremendously in my government classes :D

^ yes not surprised by answers but its quite troubling how ignorance can prevail through different circumstances. I myself would have second thoughts on the subject, and so we should not be surprised at the Dream Act's failure to pass throughout all these years.

The thing is that it is unrealistic to believe that a regular US Citizen would have any interest on this topic and most people that become activists are because they have relatives, friends, or someone in that position.

Exactly, I don't think your average American has any idea people like us exist. They probably assume all us 'illegal aliens' are Mexicans who hopped over the border last week. If more people knew about us and DA it would've passed long ago. The only people who'd want to kick us out are racists looking for any excuse, which is sadly a good portion of the US population but not the majority.

If I was an American-born USC, who dropped out of high school, never went to college and worked at a dead-end job, you bet I would oppose any bill that would legalize educated illegal students. ;-)
