To all those who complain about ARMs Act
 

You guys sound like 2010 all over again when it was announced that the age limit in Dream Act was 30 and people started talking about how there should be retroactive benefit before the bill even passed.

This week, ARMs Act was merely introduced.

Seems like you guys forgot that Republicans still have the House majority. ARMs Act might not even make it.

I already have the college part covered and I wouldn't have a problem getting a job if the college part was included in this bill but if you think college part has so much chance, why couldn't it be introduced in a separate bill?

So you guys want to have ARMs Act go down entirely if the college part were not attached to it?

Yup I have the college part down as well. Idk I respect people for not wanting to sign their soul away to the devil but I will.

most likely you're going to go into a combat. officer is for USC only even with a college degree.

What most have failed to realize is that if you do join the military by any means, becoming an USC is soo much easier and it takes almost no time, 6-12 months; and if you have a degree you can become an officer after gaining your USC. Just a thought.

I believe that this is all quite naive cause it's all talk right now, but I am not going to agree with such a proposal if some of us will be left behind. I know that many of you think it's better than nothing, but then I guess this DREAM Act really is pointless after all.

Dude, the Republicans won't be the problem this time, but the Democrats. This bill was introduced by the GOP. Now let's chill and wait for Durbin's reaction on this.

Where have you been for the last 3 years? Republicans have been filibustering their own bills in attempt to make "deals" with the democrats.
