Just get married ; /

since graduation is approaching i have been thinking about grad school, moving back to my country, moving to canada and a thousand other things .... = /

I hate that my mom just says you just need to get married! I asked her to to please not mention it again. ughhh i feel like i want to throw up every time she mentions it, i wish it was that easy to get a USC to just marry me and then i could just live happily ever after.
Are any of you parents or relatives as annoying as mine and keep nagging you to JUST GET MARRIED?

I am already married. I EWI´d so I´m out of the country right now. In Tijuana. It´s not that bad. Just know that it will take about a year for you to get anything.

Well, at least you have the option of getting married. A lot of EWIs don't have this option.

I agree. it was an extremely difficult decision for me. I have a 6 month old baby that I left back at the states. Everyday he is getting bigger and I can not be there to see it. While I've been gone he has already learned to say "da-da". It pains me greatly to hear that over the phone. When i go back he won't recognize me anymore. For those EWI's that are thinking about getting married I say do it. by the time you get around to your visa appointment the new change in procedure SHOULD be in effect and you will leave the country with waiver approval in hand. It took USCIS 4months just to do a background check for me. Time is not on our side.

I know your pain. All I hear is that too. Go find a citizen and marry them. Of course if my bitch mother wasn't a dipshit and married one herself (or gc holder, or probably even H1B holder) rather another illegal none of this issue would even existed. But nope, she half asses it (as per usual) and then leaves me to fix it. Now I'm stuck with an EWI, and constant complaining about my tuition costs (which wouldn't exist if she wasn't a dipshit as FA would cover that fully).

I'd like to introduce you to my mother's method:
Half ass something / do the opposite of what you need to do.
Never attempt to fix/adjust it and sit on ass and hope for miracle.
Don't acknowledge your fault.
Complain about whatever repercussions brought forth by your idiocy/half-assing.
Continue to not accept blame / push it onto someone else.

Your mother = my father. He's a permanent resident and has been one since 1994, but didn't put my mother, sister or me on his application. Last I heard, it's my fault for still being undocumented.
