If we ever moved back
Lets say if I or we ever moved back to our home country, how hard would it be to travel to countries other than the U.S for small periods of time? if it depends on the country lets say im moving back to mexico

Re: If we ever moved back
It depends on the country you're from. If your home country has strict rules to give out visas, your chance of traveling may be slim because of your record here in US. The US has a big influence world wide, so if the embassy sees that you committed a crime here as an immigrant, there's a possibility they will deny you a visa to go elsewhere.
However, depending on your country's law, it may also depends how well your life will turn out in the future if you go back. Some countries let their citizens travel for a while if they have proven that they've established something--a business, or a job, or property, or anything that they couldn't easily abandon--that ties them back to their home country when they leave. |
Re: If we ever moved back
You can travel to Europe as a tourist with just your Mexican passport..no visa required

if you're from mexico you can travel to 137 + countries without a visa including major european countries like italy, england, spain etc..

Re: If we ever moved back
I pretty much agree with dreamy 14,although a person may leave the US might still have some affect. However, considering most dreamers came when they were young I don't think it would be too difficult to overcome the burden of proof of not overstaying in any country in all but the most zealous of countries with regards to immigration enforcement.

Re: If we ever moved back
It really depends on the country. If you're from countries like Somalia, then it'll be hard to go anywhere else. But if you're from South Korea, then it's pretty simple to go places. The only thing that will stop you would be the lack of money. I'm thinking of moving to Singapore in a few years but don't have the funds to do so just yet..

Depends on the country. We went to Belize and Guatemala over the winter break with no problems
