My grandmother's cousin in Mexico is a university professor at a university in the state San Luis Potosí . He told my Dad thet he is willing to help if I go back to Mexico . Any advice ? Should I go or should I stay?

Multiple things to consider:

1. Would the university professor be of actual assistance?
2. How are your language skills?
3. When would you leave to go?*
4. Finical situation.
5. Does the university have what you want to major in?
Etc.

* In your intro thread, you mentioned graduating soon. So this is a large factor. Getting close to the ban age.

Personally, if everything checked out, I’d go. There’s no certainty for an US immigration reform. And family can’t always help with emotional instability.

Up to you man. Even if you did not have the professor's help, you could still make something of yourself in Mexico. After all the shit you have been through here, Mexico es pan comido.

But, I will remind you that the elections are around the corner, and I encourage you to wait and see what the elections results are. That way you make an absolute decision with no regrets.

Thanks for the help guys . I will wait and see who which group of elderly citizens will win the elections this year.

Well, even if it is Romney who wins, we still have some glimmer of hope because he supports the military path to legalization for us. But, the issue would then be waiting to see if he lives up to his promise.
