Finally those assholes in the Senate will think twice about playing games with the country's well being...

Well this is good to create some sort of pressure but I'm not sure exactly where it will lead. Are we referring specifically to the filibuster here? The tables have turned. We will have a bigger problem in the House this time.

I believe it has to do with the filibuster that time the dream act was supposed to pass

It seems like their referring to filibusters and much more, which is good since I've always viewed filibustering as anti-american. And with the House, the only problem there is if the GOP choices not to support the bill, since unlike the Senate, they don't actually have filibustering or those other rules that the Senate uses to cause gridlock.

Yeah it makes absolutely no sense when five no votes defeated a bill. That's why that filibuster system is broken as well.

The filibuster during that time made absolutely no sense; the dream act has bi partisan support. It had everything it needed to smoothly arrive on obamas desk for a Sig. It was a corruption scheme, period.

This is it. We need to push as hard as possible for the Dream Act.

I really wouldn't call 3 republicans (one long time supporter, one who retired and one who defeated the party's nominee via write-in) in the senate and 8 in the house bipartisan, it's more along the lines of 11 republicans going rogue.
