All my Documents
All the documents that I need/have for DACA. I recently just graduated from college this past May. These are the things that I have or still need: (If anyone see a problem, please let me know)
I Have: -SSN# Card (invalid for employment) -Passport (w/I-94) 1993, with new passport currently getting renewed, should arrive in the mail soon -U.S. medical records from since 1993-4 -Got my official College transcript -Translated birth certificate -Registered Selective Service card I Still need: -I need to call my HS for an official transcript -Need to print out bank statements to prove I was in the states on June 15th, 2012 Does anyone think I should go ahead and call my elementary school and middle school to see if they can round up my academic records for me? or do you think that is excessive? Thank you so much! -Will |
Re: All my Documents
Good stuff, good stuff.
I have pretty much exactly all the "items" as you (are you me?!) I ordered my bank statements from the last 7 years over the phone as ordering them 1-month at a time online was a pain. Definitely get cracking on that HS transcript as soon as you can as schools will be very busy as they get closer to the start of a new semester. As far as middle and elementary school records go, they shouldn't be necessary for you as your bank statements, HS & College transcripts should be sufficient to prove your continues presence in the country for the past 5 years or more (IE if you were someone whom is still in HS or just graduated HS then I think those will be very good to have if you don't have any other records). Of course who knows, as we won't know for sure until next month as more details and guidelines are released. GO DACA GO |
Re: All my Documents
I wouldn't worry that much about middle and elementary school records. I will only submit my high school diploma, won't even bother to get my transcript. I have however my community college and university transcripts. Other than that I have the same documents as you.

Re: All my Documents
That sounds pretty good, William. Like everyone else said, I wouldn't look into elementary/middle school records.. the burden of proof is on the last 5 years.
I have a question: Do you guys think that my motther's tax returns, in which I am listed as a dependent, would be a viable piece of evidence of my presence in the United States? It just occurred to me that I might be able to use those to.. "seal," if you will, any gaps where I might lack documentation. Thoughts? |
Re: All my Documents

Re: All my Documents
Yes,2 Passport photos are required for I-765 but USCIS has a rule the photos must have been taken within 6 months of the application being filed.

Re: All my Documents
passport photos? that's simple, just go take it any copy place like kinkos or even walgreens or CVS

Re: All my Documents
why are ppl forgetting that you need to prove you arrived into the US before your 16th or is it 15th bday? middle school/hs transcripts certainly help in that regard.
