Let's say you're undocumented right now and want to fly. All you have is a Mexican passport. Since you haven't applied for deferred action, can immigration stop you at the airport and deport you despite the June 15th memorandum?

If TSA decides to look through your passport, which they shouldn't, and notice the absence of a visa, then they may turn you in. You may end up with an immigration hold, spend days in a cell, and more days in a jail. A bond will be placed on you, which you'll have the option to pay for in order to get out of jail for the time being, and you'll await your court date before an immigration judge, who'll decide your fate at a later date. If you do not pay the bond, you'll remain in jail and have an immigration judge determine your fate at a sooner date... (I believe)

Or be prepared to spend a lot of needed money on a good immigration lawyer to have your case closed before judgement day.

Thanks guys. I wasn't really planning on flying anyway. I was just imagining what they might to do to people who did decide to fly.

thats not entirelly true! search the forum for other threads regarding this. I have boarded over 10 planes in the past six months just with my passport.

not to say that its 100% safe but it can be done.

Flying is so safe!! I've flown three times in the past year. From ATL to LA. The TSA Agent only looked at my picture on the passport and made sure my passport matched the ticket's name and dob. Anyways, if you fly and you get caught by ICE, your can apply for Deferred Action. The chance is very low though. Don't bring anything you shouldn't and follow the guidelines and you'll be just fine. I hate people that make it seem as though you were crossing the border again. They've probably never flown themselves and are afraid of even attempting it.
