any one in cosmetology school?
 

I'm thinking of switching my major any one is or gone to cosmetology school ? If yes how did you apply and is it at a college or private school , and did you take the state exam ?

I did not go to cosmetology school, but I looked at it. Most of cosmetology school are private school, but there are few that are under community college, which is a lot cheaper. However, as undocumented, you cannot take state exam. If you DACA, you can definitely take it thou

In Texas you can take the exam and get licensed even if you're undocumented.

I've been looking into the cosmetology schools in Manhattan KS, and as far as I know the most basic requirement is a high school diploma or a GED equivalent. Admission procedures might vary from school to school, so it's best to check with the school you're interested in individually just to be sure. I checked Marinello Schools of Beauty in Manhattan, Kansas and found them promising.
