Currently under stay of removal & order of supervision .. deferred action?
 

In early March I was given a stay of removal. Then I applied for a work permit and they put me under an order of supervision. Only yesterday did I finally receive a notification stating that the EAD was ordered for production.

Is anyone else here in a similar case? How does this new deferred action process affect my current "status"? Would I still have to pay for the I 765 filing fee if I were to apply?

From what I understand unless you are in ice detention, you cannot apply for deferred action ....but since you have a stay of removal and work permit already, I don't think you need to do anything else.
