So I was watching Univision with my mom, and some lawyer dude said that the process should take 4 months at most. Do you guys think this could be true? Because the morons at Univision usually talk a bunch of crap.

They have a brotherhood with ABC so just because they broadcast in Spanish it does not mean they are retarted you MORON. Meh regional foreign-language papers are even worse. One here in NY claimed that you can get green card after 6 years on DACA. I still taunt my mother for mentioning that piece of shit paper.

So what if they try to help us? That doesn't say shit about them. And they actually ARE retarded, since they're always giving out wrong information and apparently don't bother to check their sources. They defend all illegal immigrants and Latinos as if they were all saints. According to them, any attack on any Latino is "racism". And "Hispanic" or "Latino" isn't even a race, it's an ethnicity, so that shows you how fucking stupid they are. Lastly, they may have a partnership with ABC, but they're also in a partnership with Mexican broadcaster Televisa, which is not a very good thing.

My sociologist friends would get angry at me when I said hispanic, the origin of hispanic has more racist history apparently, the appropriate term in their mind is Latino, as hispanic would exclude non-spanish speaking countries in South America.

Yeah.... don't pay too much close attention to media around these issues, go either directly to the source or directly to an organization that primarily focuses on this issue to get the best response. Reporters are always on a deadline and rushing causes a lot of misinterpretation of information.

Taking from me, I have seen first hand an event that is carefully organized only to have a reporter come up and saw something so completely wrong that is makes everything that was done a waste of time. It happens all the time which is why most immigration organizations don't take them seriously, but will work with them because they can at least serve the purpose of bringing information out to people, hopefully about meetings and events being held so we can have the most positive effect possible.
