How long does it take for transcripts?
 

Anyone know how long it takes for transcripts to be mailed in to my school. They weren't very helpful and didn't say when it will be mailed in since i'm a 2010 grad and they don't have them anymore. thanks!!

If you still live in the same city, it shouldn't take more than a week. All schools have records of your transcripts. 2010 is not long at all!

If you have copy you should be fine, No need to have official seald transcript.

Don't have a copy and its a small school...really don't know why they don't have them

You have to take the bull by the horns here, they HAVE TO have them. Go down there and try to talk to someone. Schools can't just lose your transcripts without a valid reason, and if they give you a reason, make them give you a letter saying so.

No need to be sealed, but it must have school stamp and signature of school authority to be considered official.

Yes, go talk to them in person. It's not too much work, they can easily print them out from a computer, stamped and signed it.

well i just went down there again and they say they understand the situation and that there's many students asking for the same thing she told me to wait till next wends...Should i just go to the school district office or whatever and do it there?

It took 3 days for mine but that was 3 weeks ago.

school district would probably tell you to go to your high school or keep you waiting.

Mine were instant. They find it in the transcript office and made copies, stamped, signed, sealed within 10 minutes.
