Re: 2500 to apply?
Hell No.
That's way too high. I hired one at 800 and thought that that was a bit extreme but I wanted one for a peace of mind for myself and my parents. |
Re: 2500 to apply?
People here are doing it on their own and some have gotten their notifications already. Of course, if there's an issue with your case I would recommend another lawyer.
I dont think I would pay that much for a lawyer to get me a GC... |
Re: 2500 to apply?
If you can read English, don't have any misdemeanor and have a functional brain, you should be able to do the whole thing by yourself.
Btw, flying oversea isn't the problem, coming back is. |

Re: 2500 to apply?
DONT DO IT! Unless money is no good for you. Average lawyers are charging $1000.00 or less but over that is just way too much. About that waiver to travel overseas that is true, if you are accepted you can file for advance parole I-131 which you can have some lawyer fill it for about $200.00. I'm paying $150.00 for everything in CT. Is a center for immigrants with certified lawyers! Good luck

Re: 2500 to apply?
Wow, 2.5 grand to fill out a lousy paper that's easy to understand if you have a general grasp of the English language? Where do I sign up to be a lawyer?
