ID for Biometric Appointment
I've been getting mixed answers in regards to what kind of ID's are required for when going in for your biometric appointment. Has anyone consulted with a lawyer in regards to what ID's are acceptable for DACA cases?

TBH, I think this is going to be one of those situations where the people who will go first for biometrics... they are going to be the ones with the answers. I've always thought it was VALID government ID only, but many of us can't get that for whatever reason (due to home country laws, etc). Sometimes I think people assume everybody is Mexican or Hispanic, lol. The whole thing with India/S. Korea Dreamers presents this issue, for real. So this will be interesting to see. |

Re: ID for Biometric Appointment
My lawyer has told me on more than one occasion that your biometrics ID has to be a government ID.
Bring your passport. If you still have doubts and/or questions, then call the biometrics office yourself and figure it out. Be resourceful and get the answers on your own directly from the source. |
