QUESTION for People who Applied Themselves. (Requirements)

I decided to go the legal route and use my family's imm. atty here in NY to do the DACA for me. He's very reputable and all my family's cases were won through him so i trust him. Problem i'm having right now is he's taking his absolute sweet time to file my application, saying i should bring as MANY proofs of presence in the country from the time i got here, as humanly possible till now. I've already given him all my bank statements and College transcripts, and he says its not enough. Just as a safety blanket to protect me from a rejection, he wants as much proof as possible to send in.
I wanted to ask You guys who filed yourselves, what and how many required documents did you send in?
Im getting ridiculously antsy and want to send it as soon as possible, even to just take my chances with what i have. So many people on here are already getting to the point of biometrics and i havent even sent it yet.
Thanks Guys.

The average around here is 20-40 documents. If you met all the requirements they are asking for tell him to send it asap.

If you can, list all the documents you have given to your lawyer separated by the requirements they prove. Tell him to send the apps ASAP because the later you do it, the more backlogged your application will get. Not trying to make you panic but just get on it.

2 Items per category should be enough. You don't want to overwhelm them with lots of papers. NO ONE wants to scan 200 hundred papers. My packet was around 25 pages including the forms. You want to send stuff that carries credibility like bank statements, transcripts, diplomas from middle, high school and college.

How exactly does this work? Why do they scan the documents? We've already sent them copies. I'm actually glad I sent in copies of my college transcript instead of official ones.

They will scan the copies you send. They will keep them in their database for records. They can always transfer things electronically between facilities (for example from initial filing facility to biometrics facility). That is why they don't like people stapling papers, because they have to take staples off to scan every page.

Before anyone can give you any real advise, we need to know how old you are, what year you entered and what year you graduated from High school, are you currently in school?
Try asking for more Specific advise that applies directly towards your issue.

All I read about was not using HEAVY DUTY STAPLES but said nothing about normal ones.
