I live in NJ but i will be movig to Oregon in november. I just wanna know how things are over there. I wont have any friends or anyone to talk to about my situation over there. How is the hispanic population in portland? are there jobs? Cheap colleges that accept us Dreamers? Any info on his topic? Q

Re: Anyone from Oregon? Portland area?
Unfortunately i dont live in Portland. I do however understand ur situation. I have recently made a new state my home so i understand the situation u are about to enter. It's gonna be difficult at first, but once u find a place u feel comfortable the transition will become easier. I found a few friends at a gym, and im sure ill find a ton once i start school. I hope the female situation is better for u in Portland than it is for me n Georgia, as i still cant seem to find where they like to hang out. However this too shall be rectified once i start school.
Again dude, its gonna suck at first. Just go find that place u enjoyed being when u were in NJ and everything will work itself out. |

they did back in 2008. If you have an EAD and SSN they will give you I think with a 2 year limit and a TEMPORARY STATUS in the card

Re: Anyone from Oregon? Portland area?
So you do have one?
Why not get one from Washington instead, things here in Oregon are uncertain. I managed to finish school before this but if they denied us ID/DL I will move to a different state. But this seems to be a domino effect. Oregon just seems like the next state to follow. |
Re: Anyone from Oregon? Portland area?
I currently have one and it expires in '15. But I want to get my motorcycle endorsement.
That's my only choice just get one from washington, they left me no choice! But then, If I decide to attend PSU, would I have to pay out of state tuition? |
Re: Anyone from Oregon? Portland area?
You probably would since Oregon does not offer instate tuition to illegal students.
