As long as you have a nonexpired passport, it has always been ok to fly domestically with it.... I have been using it to fly for years... went from california to new york and even toured the redneck south with just my passport. Tourists do it all the time so just pretend and act like one. Passports count as legitimate ID. They dont check for visa unless you are going out of the country.

I have heard that you should take a domestic airline instead of the international ones. They are more relaxed at the domestic airlines.

Domestic travel with a passport is not a problem, the TSA has no business checking your visa/stamp, only Customs and Border Protection. Have no fear and travel safe!

How old are you guys?.... The ones using your passport to travel.

I ask because I wonder if they're less strict with kids/younger people.

I have a Mexican passport and I use it to go into the casino once in a while and once in a while I'll have a security person who checks thru every single page of my passport looking for the stupid stamp.

I am going to travel not just domestically but abroad as well! :)
When I hear that DACA applicants are free to travel with advance parole, I'll be booking my flight tickets IMMEDIATELY! :)
