About the Advance Parole

We can only travel with advance parole. One of the reasons listed is for "educational purposes". For example, my French class is having a field trip to France in March, sponsored by EF educational tours. Does this even count?

It should, but it still isn't clear whether you would not have any problems coming back into the U.S.

That would be your choice, to leave the U.S that is. Even if you get Advanced Parole, the sad thing is that their is no guarantee you'd be allowed back in.

This is changing based on a ruling by a judge this year saying that once you get advanced parole, you shouldn't have problems getting back in because you were in the country illegally b4 deferred action.

Please consult a lawyer as I'll be doing if i get approved.

Well, I'm 17 yrs old at the moment, so since I haven't remained illegally in the country after my 18th birthday, doesn't that mean that there'll be no problems getting back in the U.S.?

Re: About the Advance Parole

am traveling soon too and i already applied for advance parole. just like ead it's part of daca so am positive going knowing i will have no trouble coming back.

be scared only if they find some shit illegal on you at security check. otherwise enjoy your trip with no fear. and people need to post where it says they won't let you in. sources from uscis please, otherwise stop the fear.

and you know what you might not even get it if they feel you don't deserve it, it's not like a re-entry permit. i actually said am going on vacation to celebrate my new found freedom. really that's what i said.

HouseOfMunchies, aside from advance parole wouldnt you need to apply for a French visa with your native country's passport?
