To the ones who have been approved
 

Question for you all. Once we are all in Card Production step, does it go from card being produced to being mailed. As of now, this is what I have..."On September 19, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Does that change anytime from ordered production to mailed out?

Yes.

It will change to "USPS has picked up your card"

or something along those lines.

ordered -> produced -> picked up by USPS -> Delivered by USPS

Sweet, thanks. Any idea how long after the order of production that happens? And, do we get another text notification for that?

ordered -- produced --- mailed, for me (last one being today at like 9:45 am) and i check uscis before 8 and no new updates

ok well it was approved/ordered on 9/18/2012 4 pm via text msg
sent into production 3.5 hrs later 9/18/2012 (texted at lke 10:45pm)
says it was mailed 9/20/2012 9:45 am via text msg
most likely the day dif is cause they probly produced a set amount to conserve resources specially with so many apps

So yours is already on its way. Going by that, I should have mine sent out tomorrow.

Last question, did you get a text notification saying it was mailed out?

Whenever the status changes, you will get a notification. Which will be like 3 times after Biometrics.
