Anyone applied with a misdemeanor?
 

Has anyone applied with a misdemeanor or know anyone that has?
What was the process and how did you deal with it? lawyer no lawyer?
Any info would be appreciated.


Exclude all DWIs and such please

I tried looking a thread for this but couldn't find one sorry in advance; if there is one please point me in the right direction.

yeah i did. Did it with a lawyer he didn't do anything special. Got my outcome of the case which was basically a fine (make sure to include the outcome off the case). I didn't go to a jail or get fingerprinted becaause it wasnt serious at all. good luck pm me if you need more info.

I did without lawyer, not sure i will get approved thought.
I went to jail twice for public intoxication
2 fighting misdemeanors that only resulted in fines of no more then
500
And 10+ traffic tickets

As long as you don't have a felony, "significant misdemeanor", or 3 or more non serious misdemeanor. So if you have more than 2 don't apply. ^^^^^keep in touch let us know if you get approved with that record. I have a feeling they are going to be easy on us as long as we aren't a threat to the public.

I DID! Got my EAD approved like right now.
Just my EAD was updated though, I don't know if the EAD and I821D are approved at different times.

Thank GOD !! That gives me so much relief. If you don't mind me asking. What was your misdemeanor ? Was It serious at all?

I applied with a misdemeanor and used a lawyer. I have a possession of alcohol under 21 but I never went to jail or got fingerprinted either. Lawyer said it was not a problem. I gave her a certified copy of the police report and certified copy of the disposition. Not sure what all she sent though and I am not even close to being approved so I can't help you there.
