SEEKING Dreamers who returned to their home countries
 

Hello all,

I'm a documentary radio producer that, a few years ago, did a longitudinal documentary on a Dreamer in Indiana which aired on National Public Radio. The documentary won a few awards:

This is a topic that's been near and dear to my heart for a long time, and I'm glad for Obama's actions. I've been wondering though about Dreamers who couldn't wait it out ... people who either returned to their home countries voluntarily or through deportation -- people who, if they'd been able to stick it out, would now be eligible for some protections here. I would love to hear from anyone in this situation, or from people who know people. I can email privately with anyone willing to discuss; I will keep your info private.

They shouldn't be so hard to find, in the two months before DACA came out there seemed to be a lot of people going back- and posting threads about how "great" they were doing.

Although they may be avoiding the DA forums because they may feel angry/sad/etc that they missed out on DACA.

There was a dreamer that posted his blog here and documented his experiences as he tried to adjust in his home country. I can't recall his username, will try to look it up.

I wish they weren't so hard to find :) I've been trying various sources for over a week now with not a single lead, so I do appreciate any suggestions here.
