Walk-in for Biometrics (NJ)
 

Hey guys! I'm new to the forum.

I have a question has anyone done a walk-in for biometrics in NJ in the Bergen County area. My appointment is October 22, 2012 but it's so far away!! lol I'm wondering how they react to walk-ins. Thank you! :)

my appointment is on 10/25 instead i just went in today at elizabeth service center and they accepted me for 3PM appointment =) ..just go in you should be fine as long as you come up with an excuse ..i said i have school that day =))

You guys think? I'm a little scared that it may affect the case or something. I mean that day I do have classes...I want to go today since I have free but like I said I'm afraid lol :/

Don't be afraid. That center is making a "special exception" for DACA cases apparently since they normally don't take walk-ins, haha

Also, when I went last week, they were super friendly and nice :mrgreen:. I didn't feel nervous at all. Just prepare to be there for the day since I don't know how long it takes to get to walk-ins

It won't affect your case. You're in NJ, what are you waiting for? Go NOW and tell them you have class the day of the appointment.

Maybe try calling them first to see if they are too busy. They might just tell you to go ahead and do it today. You never know. you have nothing to loose, and everything to gain. STOP being so scared.

Okay guys you have encouraged me along with my parents. Mine is in Hackensack. I hope I can do it today. I'm going to leave and see what happens. I'll talk to you guys later. Thank you!! <3

I guess I'm too paranoid to do a Walk-In and I'd rather just wait till the day of the appointment. Plus I heard a rumor that for doing a walk-in they only give you 1 year of work authorization.
