My Lil sister doesn't have enough proof, help.

Well my sister dropped out of high school back in January of 2010. After that she only has a doctor visit on December 2010. For the year 2011 she worked all year so she has her w2 tax returns for that year. For 2012, she has her wedding proof from April, and that's pretty much it. Can u guys help me with ideas. I already known they don't accept affidavits so what else can she show as proof. She's only 20 and she is enrolled in a Ged program.

I recommend your sister to get affidavits from friends and family friends and to finish her GED program.

So its just better to finish Ged program? And I thought affidavits weren't good enough to prove presence. I'm really worried about her cuz I don't think it's fair they want proof from up the @$$ as well. They should figure my Lil stser has been here, but then again, immigration tend to be really picky.

the whole idea of DACA is to give it to people who went or are attending to school she needs to enroll in school to get this. affidavits are not going to be good enough.
have her enroll in the GED program plus affidavits plus some other receipts you can fine and then she will be ok. has to be both. not one or the other. :)

hope this helps

Well she has her bill receipt from her Ged program, she's currently taking 2 courses. My sis literally has minimal proof for 2010. Well January and December are covered for 2010 but what about in between? She has searched even under the rocks to no avail. That's 10 months with no proof for 2010. She filed her tax return on March of 2012 but for the whole year of 2011 that she worked. So 2011 should be fine. For 2012 she filed her tax return in March, she has another receipt for APRIL and May. Then she has her Ged enrollment class schedule but from August. Please I beg you guys, I need help because so far two lawyers told my dad to not send anything because she doesn't qualify because of lack of proof. My Lil sister is depressed and I wanna help her since those two lawyers brought her mood Down. Anyone sent affidavits to fill in for the gap of a year? She doesn't even proof for June 15th.Thsbks

Misinformation troll.

Her best bet is going over her bank statements and then going back to the stores/shops where she made purchases and requesting copies of the original receipts.

Yes, that's what my lawyer said. GED is an exam. When you are taking a GED program, that means you are being tutored to pass the exam. She has to pass the GED exam before even applying.

Are you sure? I personally wouldn't take that chance of risking possible denial.

Does she have a bank account? If so, she can send statements from each month she doesn't have proof of. Hope, this helps!
