My lawyer supposedly sent my applications two weeks ago. I requested the text and email alert, but to this day I have not received neither confirmation. Along with the electronic alert, am I supposed to get something in the mail to confirm that they have received my papers. It is taking way too long, and they should have received everything by now.

It could take up to 3 weeks to hear something back hang in there. I would verify that the lawyer actually sent out the application as well.

i thought the text and email alert was set up from the USCIS after you get your recipt

I never received a text or email either and I did submit the G1145. There have been others as well. Usually you should receive the I-797c receipts by mail about 10 total days after your application was received. Do you have a tracking number to check it was indeed delivered?

Lawyers say they do things when they don't, you should double check with him and make sure he did send it, he should provide you with a number to track your packet. I had a bad experience with a lawyer and ended up filing it myself and received the G1145 notification today.

Check with your lawyer quickly because I received notification from USCIS like about four days after my lawyer sent my application. Best of luck.

Long story short, My brothers file with a lawyer 2 days after DACA open, I file by myself a week after. I already had my bios done, just waiting for approval and as far as my brothers lawyer's assistant barely called them today to let them know they have the Bios Appt 11/09

Yeeaahh, Unfortunately their record is not as squickie super duper clean as mine is. For that I saved myself $2000 . One has like 3 unlicense driving and has probation from when he was a minor for graffiti and the other one has unlicense driving as a minor and as a adult as well. So they wanted to make sure if anything went wrong they were not gonna get caught by surprise. They wanted to have "legal advise" =/
