anyone been to any job interviews? Is your resume ready?

So my ead is in production. I am really looking forward to my first job interview after daca. Any suggestions on where I can have my resume reviewed? I don't want to be turning in unattractive resumes lol. I have office experience background. I finished an online program in medical office assistant but never worked in the medical field due to my status. I am college student working on a degree in business computer applications. Well I hope I can get some tips in regards getting our resumes ready.

Customize your resume for the job you're applying for. Be consistent with formatting.

Put your resume on Monster and Careerbuilder. Get a LinkedIn account. Network!

Interviewed for a paid internship on Friday. Hopefully I get it! Applied to two more already.

Some things I've learned along the way about resumes and interviews:
1. The objective is only to fill out space in your resume. It really belongs in your cover letter.
2. Always submit a cover letter with your resume. Save it as a PDF file.
3. Take advantage of white space.
4. Use action verbs and parallel tenses.
5. Quantify whenever possible (e.g. tutor 20 students weekly, process 1,000 entries daily)
6. Keep your resume to one page and save it as a PDF when submitting online.
7. In interviews and recruiting events, when it doubt, wear business formal.
8. Learn the difference between business professional/business formal and business casual.

All my Applications are currently from 'Received/Completed' to 'Under Review/Under Consideration'
This is almost as bad as DACA waiting.

Yes convert everything to PDF, it's a hassle when some automated application sites screw your docx.

I did CL's in the beginning, but I just finished my 6th application and they can be tedious.

My Resume is straight to the point. I have an engineering degree and the redundancy really gets old quick. Hopefully my lazy approach works.

Not yet, but I applied to some jobs. I totally agree it's almost as bad as DACA. I check my application status daily and phone for missed calls and voicemails.
