Car crash without driver license
 

Has anyone gotten into a car accident and carry no driver license? what was your experience? penalties? how did you dealt with it?

You can use the insurance of the car owner to cover you for the 1st accident, but after that you will be excluded from the insurance policy, so you have to change the insurance carrier. Tell the other party the truth, and that if it is your fault, tell them that you will use your "parents" insurance to cover the loss.

Thank you. It was a chain accident. I was just afraid to call the car owners insurance because I have no DL.

I have. Some idiot wrecked my beautiful mustang. I got a ticket and the idiot didn't. His insurance paid to fix my mustang.

sorry to hear that. I scrape a little bit of paint off her bumper and now she wants to sue me. The lawyers are calling. :( I hope I get through this.

Just take her car to a shop and pay out of pocket.

I was involved in a hit-and-run. Since the other party fled the scene, my insurance told me I needed a police report in order for them to fix my car. Upon getting a police report, they asked for my license (blah!!!) and got a ticket for not having one, therefore, I had to go to court. I got my car fixed, but had to go to court :(

My case was dismissed by the judge and only paid for the driving with no DL ticket.

I am DACA approved (this was my second court appearance for driving with NO DL).

Wait, You were the one that crash into other vehicles? Who's the register owner for the vehicle you were driving? If other then yourself, do you live in the same household as her/him?

I crashed the front of my car into the back of someone else's, but it wasnt that bad. The cop came and asked for my license I didn't have it so I went to court and paid a fine of about 320$ and the judge said I couldn't get my license for another 6 months as a penalty. That time has passed it happened in 2010, I was 17

I GOT A TICKET FOR NO DL ONLY BECAUSE WE WHERE HIT BY SOME DUMB ASS LADY AND POLICE ASKED ME FOR DL WICH I DONT HAVE AND THERE GOES MY TICKET :| .. BUT LUCKILY IT WASN'T MY FAULT SO THE OTHER VEHICLE DRIVERS INSURANCE HAS TO PAY FOR OUR INFINITY QX56 DAMAGES WORTH ABOUT $6000. WE DID HAVE TO PROVIDE THE INSURANCE WITH A POLICE REPORT. WELL THE TRUCK IS UNDER MY DADS NAME HE IS STILL PAYING IT, AND OUR INSURANCE IS UNDER MY MOMS NAME, IM NOT ON THE INSURANCE. NOW I GOT MY ATTORNEY TO BUY ME SOME TIME IN ORDER TO GO TO COURT AND SHOW THAT I AM ELIGIBLE OR MAYBE BY THE TIME OF COURT I HAVE MY DL AND GET THE CASE DISMISSED!!:D
