HEY GUYS THOUGHT I'D SHARE THIS WITH YOU ALL.....SO I DID A TRIP TO MY ATTORNEYS OFFICE TODAY ABOUT SOME TICKET I GOT ABOUT A MONTH AGO FOR NO DL, THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT THERE GAVE ME THIS WEB SITE WHERE WE CAN DO OUR DL COURSE ONLINE INSTEAD OF DOING THE BORING CLASSES IN PERSON. THIS CAN SAVE US BOTH TIME AND GAS! DO YOUR COURSE ONLINE AND ONCE YOU GET YOUR SSN JUST GO AND CHECK WHAT ELSE YOU HAVE TO GET DONE AND GET YOUR DL!! ;)

So there's no need for a SSN just yet.???
What do we put if it does ask for one.?
And if we don't need a SSN, does that apply to any online adult drivers Ed course?

but you need "Client ID" numbers that's found on your temporary permit (temporary permit is given after you pass the written test) in order to take 5 hour course so you need to wait for your SSN anyways if your state requires you to have SSN for written learner's permit test..

NO IT ONLY ASKED ME TO PUT MY NAME AND LAST NAME DOWN, EMAIL AND ADDRESS, AND A PAYMENT OF LIKE $65 ONLY IF YOU ARE AN ADULT (TEENAGERS FEE IS HIGHER). ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR SSN YOU ALREADY HAVE YOUR DL COURSE DONE... IF YOU NEVER HAD A DL THEN YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED A BEHIND THE WHEEL TEST, AND THAT'S ALL TO MY UNDERSTANDING.

And best of all, once you pass our 6 hour adult drivers ed course, you automatically pass your written DPS exam. Simply pass the course and we’ll send you a certificate of completion that you states you passed your DPS written exam. Once you receive your certificate, you present the certificate to the DPS to get your license. Please note, if you do not currently have a license, you will also be required to take a behind the wheel exam.)

but if we need to learn behind the wheel time we still need to apply for a permit first or does this give us a permit as well?

18-24 dont need a permit, only if you are under age. 18-24 just need a 6hr ed course and everyone needs a behind the wheel test.

Does anyone know if its okay to use a SSN printout at the dps office? For just a Texas ID? And how much is a state ID? Thanks
