Has anyone received a drivers license?
 

I was approves and just received work permit and waiting for ss and was wondering if anyone has gotten there drivers license with daca?

yes they have only a few so far that i know of but it depends on the state

There are a few people that have gotten their driver's license. Some have said they got their driver's license with a expiration range of 5 years.

I just finished signing up for a safety driver course that is required by the state of CT. Then I would be going for my license.

Yes I did. I passed my test on 10/29/12 and I was issued an interim license. The plastic license should be here sometime this week.

EDIT: It is good for two years, same as the EAD.

CALIFORNIA.
I already got my license in the mail. It expires in 2017.
When I went to the DMV all I showed was my EAD card. Because you fill out the SSN on the application. They never ask you for it. So as soon as you apply for SS card try to get a
Printout while you wait for the card. That's all you need ;)
