DACA approved but EAD still under review.
 

Hello everyone, I searched for this but didn't find anything so I thought I'd make a new thread. My brother and I sent our applications with the help of our lawyers. We did our biometrics together on september 24th. Last night around 7:30 I checked USCIS and I found out that my brother got RFE'd for DACA but had his EAD approved and I had my DACA approved and my EAD was still saying initial review. I thought that it would take a few hours to change so I let it go. I woke up this morning and went to college and I came back and checked and it still didn't change. Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone?

I was told that people had their EAD approved but DACA stalled out. This is opposite so I was wondering if anyone else experienced this.

Yeah it does I know of at least 5 people throughout the threads... I'm one of them btw and have been waiting for 2 months since my DACA approval so sit tight kid and good luck to you! :)

Most people get approved for the I-765 first, then I-821D.

In this case, USCIS has up to 90 days to approve your I-765 after your I-821D is approved.

I don't really care anymore I just have to wait! I thought I was patient but I guess God just wants me to be more patient.

Well I guess I just have to wait more. I hope it goes through soon. I go to college and getting a ride there is just a hassle. I can't wait until I can get my license and just drive there.
