Good place to apply for SSN and DL in LA
 

Im just wondering where is the best office to go to apply for SSN and best DMV office to go to apply for a DL(DMV place that i can possibly have a 5 year license). I live in LA tho. And how much for SSN and DL?

Go to the Montebello SSN office, you'll get a prinout in a day or two. Make an appointment at the DMV! I went to montebello, apply for your ID and your DL.

i suggest going to a really busy DMV. u may have a better chance at getting the full term DL if the workers are busy. good luck

How many years did u receive for your dl? And how much is it for ID and DL?

I haven't gotten my DL in the mail yet, but the ID is for 2018. It's like $60 but I got both because I'll keep my DL in my car and my ID in my wallet just in case I lose one.

Should i apply for ID first and wait till i get the card then apply for DL? Did u apply for both on the same day? Let me know how many years on your DL. And which DMV did you go to?

Apply for both at the same time. Just got my DL and it expires in 2017. I also went to the Montebello DMV. I assume if you apply for both on the same day you'll get a later expiration date. Someone else who just got their DL from the same DMV got their with a 2 year expiration date.

Nice. How could i possibly get a 5 yr license? What did you do? What are the things that you gave/showed them and what did they ask for? I still know my CA ID but dont have it anymore.
