social security without passport
 

Did any of you get a social security number without using you passport because I keep reading that they ask you for your passport? I just got approved today but my appointment for my passport is not till in one month. Am I going to have to wait till I have my passport?

You don't need a passport, just your Birth Certificate.

If you don't have a valid passport you can use your birth certificate.
