Was it easy for you to get your SS#? Did they give you a print out?

And should I put both my parents last name on the SS app or just one.

Did the DMV allow you to use the print out to get a licenses?

I think I saw a few cases on Univision but not sure if anyone has actually been approved from Oregon.

I have but I filed my application in NJ i moved to Oregon during the process. i went to the S.S office in Oregon City on Molalla ave. and they were very nice. Specially the manager he was a young laid back heavy bearded guy.

I went to the SS office in Beaverton and the lady was really nice. I was actually surprised since anytime I go to a gov't office they're rude. She said that they verified my information right away, but she couldn't give me a printout (even before I asked her for one). Hopefully I get my number sometime next week.

I see that you did a walkin biometrics, did you do them in Portland? When I tried it it didn't work, and the guard said I had to wait until the day on my letter.

sorry to post this late but has anyone gotten their DL? i just got my ssn and i dont know if they are giving out DL in Oregon or not? rumor has it they aren't

I got my license about a week and a half ago at the Beaverton DMV. There's another post where I explained the process. It's in one of the Oregon threads, so it shouldn't be hard to find.

I got mine on Tuesday. But when you apply they have to verify your documents for some reason and they say it takes a weak but I took me one day to have it verified . But my is only for two years a it has in small letters at the bottom that said limited term.
