The office was really busy, but others have been in and out a lot faster than that.
A printout has your new number so you can get things done (applying for jobs, applying for license/ID) before the physical card arrives in the mail.

Depends on which office. I've been to 2 and wait was 2 hours and 3 hours. Try and go early in the morning when they open

I've heard we have to wait 10 days before we go to the SS office. Does this waiting period begin after we get the EAD card in the mail or right after it gets approved? Anyone knows?
