lost ead card
 
it fell down on the way from my car to the entrance to the ssa office :(. pretty sure someone that was behind me on line mustve picked it up or something and just didnt give it back :(
how do i file for a new one ? :/

Btw, did you ask in the SSN office if someone found your EAD? Anyway info is below. You will have to fill out the same form as before (with proof that you were approved already), as well as pay the fee again.

Replacing an EAD


A replacement EAD replaces a lost, stolen, or mutilated EAD. In addition, an EAD may be replaced without fee for USCIS error when it was issued with incorrect information, such as a misspelled name. You must file Form I-765 to replace an EAD.

yeah i did ask, i only have to refile 1765?
will it be the whole fee again or less since biometrics wont have to be done im assuming?
also wait time? please say itll be shorter than before

Tried to stay away from this forum to preserve my sanity and this is the first thread I see when I peek in.

Where are you guys keeping these things, that you're losing them so much? It's an epidemic! I may just super glue mine to my forehead when I eventually get it.

I doubt that anyone would just steal your EAD. Try doing what SWIM said and ask the SSN office to keep an eye out for it. There are more good samaritans than douchebags.

Somehow I think you left it at home, or you're a troll... Leaning towards the latter.

Lmao out of all the things, u lose your card? Wow sorry. I'm going to social security office today and mine is inside my wallet. Good luck on finding it though, maybe Ss office has it? Ask

If you read the notes from November call he said to contact public engagement office. I would try that and see what happens.
