Unlucky day...Caught by cops right after failing the learner's permit test.
 

Got approved a couple weeks ago and SSN came last Saturday. Went to get my learner's permit today, got 9/10 and failed. Caught by baiting cops...What a luck.

Thank god I had the SSN card and work permit with me. I was afraid they were gonna tow my car and take me to detention center or something, but they didn't, for both.

He said something like you COULD go to jail up to a year (that'd suck, a lot) or get the driver's license before you come to the court on 2/13, which will help immensely.

It does increase my urgency to get a driver's license as soon as I can (60 days after learner's permit here in VA, so no room to fail), as I got one for driving without a valid license and failure to obey signs).

GUYS...DRIVE SAFE!

PS.) BTW, in VA, they wanted to see: BOTH You-Got-Approved immigration papers, work permit card, social security card, and anything with your name and address on it. Had to go back and forth three times.

You failed your learners permit test? That's a written test it's supposed to be really easy? Should of practice it online bro.. Ps I don't think 9/10 is fail.. 14/20 is pass in NY I doubt other states would make it 90% up? Doesn't sound right

In TN you can only miss 6 out of 30.

That's unfortunate, man. Thankfully I passed the test easily. Only missed two. Thank God!

What do you mean by "baiting cops"? Did you commit a traffic violation after you left? Or did you drive yourself to the DMV and they caught you as you were leaving?
