traveling thru in land check points by only using your DACA recipt
 

Hey guys ..me and many of our friends are still waiting on our DACA approval and seems like the wait is taking forever yet , what takes more of a toll on us is we are stuck between two borders. south of us is the Mexican/American border, and 60 miles north are 5 main roads going up state which are blocked by border patrol check points. We live in an area called the Rio Grande valley located on the south handle of Texas; we are basically stuck on an island though we are eager to travel up state to join the dream act movement some of us are thinking in going thru the check points by showing our DACA receipts along with a proper ID. I recently just finished a info pass here in my local USCIS office and i took the courage to ask the lady that was helping me with my case, for her advice regarding crossing the check points with just a receipt number. She said they should not give you any trouble because you are in process and you can’t leave the country until we have reached a final decision on your case.. The worst thing they can do is detain you for a bit to confirm your identification... P.S. some of my friends who have work permits and traveled to congress for united we dream were told from a few dreamers that this strategy works.......any body has tried it befor???
