Credit Card Referrals?
 

So my mom has a few credit cards and she has excellent credit always pays on time etc (btw shes undocumented also) . Her cards have limits of thousands of dollars so my question is can I get referred by her to get a credit card for myself from one of the banks she has a card from. Does anyone know if this is possible..

yes. she can cosign for you. Chase told me to get a cosigner. the way it would work is my cosigner would get the card under her name, and put me in as an authorized user. i would get her credit limit, she can throw away the card right away, and i would start building my credit under her. after a while, apply for my own card.

but what do you know, chase approved me for my own before i could get a cosigner.. lol
