If you don't know yet, iowa decided not to give driving licenses to dreamers barely yesterday. I managed to get mine in November but now will be useless. I'll have to return it. I also had two cars regristared under my name because they couldn't be under my parents name since they don't have papers. All the past years our families cars were regristared under my uncles name. In total my family paid a total of $438 dollars for regristration, my license, and the cars license plates. But now what, it was a total waste of money. I mean, should it been my fault for not waiting for the governors last word. Why would they do that? I'm just angry and crying right now. For me a driving license was awesome since I would be the only one of my family to legally drive but they just took that again now. And I just don't know, I wanted the privelegne to drive so bad for the past years. Now what? At least I can legally stay in the country and work, right? Maybe

If they take my license in Georgia I'm going back to Mexico. I'm not going to put up with that crap. It really does sucks that after you got yours, they passed this crap..

Are you really? Why not move to a different state

Because I'm not the type that runs around. We are not causing harm and we shouldn't be treated like this.

calm down. You can move to another state or better yet, wait for the DREAM Act to come into fruition in 2-3 years.

Lol, MA gives out 5 year licenses. I might just have to stick around. Orrrrr just keep my MA license while I go live in Vegas for a year.

I don't wanna move to another state. I don't know anyone in another state. Plus I love georgia, I couldn't cheat on Georgia with another state lol.

I know how it feel, Kawi. In Michigan, we also don't get DL, but getting a license from other state is still much better than moving back to Mexico. I have nothing against your country, but it really is a dangerous and miserable place.
