Question About Updated Status...
 

On December 28, 2012, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION.

what does it mean? i searched on google couldnt find much info, maybe someone here has an idea.

That means they changed your A# due to some reason or mistake.

Interesting... Do you have any prior immigration history? like a visa or anything of the sort...

Someone had this too in another thread so just to make sure, call USCIS to see what the update means. It might just be a glitch. Perhaps you are about to get approved or something.

ICE came to pick me up 2 years after my conviction. have been in removal proceedings since beginning of last year.

yep, ive been going to the local immigration office every month to check in and i write my A# they assigned me all the time

I think this could be a good thing. Maybe you had an Alien number that served the purpose for removal proceeding and now that's changed to serve the purpose of DACA. So you could be heading in the right direction.
