A High Level overview of Vermont first 3000 cases.

I wrote a small script which parsed and stored Vermont's case information.

I was only able to get the first ~3000 before being booted for bandwidth overuse.
Anyway here are the results. I really don't appreciate it when others say case workers are lazy. They're filled from head to toe in cases, varying in different levels of complexity so STOP CALLING THEM 2 WEEKS AFTER YOUR BIOMETRICS AND WAIT THE DESIGNATED TIME PERIOD... AND QUIT WHINING (UNLESS YOUR AN AUGUST APPLICANT).

Linky

sheet 2 also has a summary.
keep in mind this was data downloaded about a weeks ago.
also... All these cases were accepted either on 9-27-2012 or 9-28-2012

edit: Comparing these case then and now... they are quite a bit more added approvals within the week.

Well yonah you and I have the same timeline execpt that I did my bios in the 29 I'm still dissapointed with them I understand that they might be buried but our situation it's not as complex as other cases therefore they should be rolling much quicker then they are. I personally think we need this more than other people we've been waiting for a long time to get this so they should at least try to be a little quicker

You don't need this more than anybody else. You can't compare your case because each case is different. Be happy for others and be patient.

I say, have patience, it's gonna come when it comes. Impatience isn't gonna get your application approved any faster. I am just grateful for the privilege. I've been waiting years for this, so nothing has changed until its finally in hand.
Yeah some Service Centers have been moving at a brisker pace, but that's life, unfair and you get what you get.

Just hope Vermont is able to train more people for the job. which would probably entail some sort of college degree. (I can't see the process being as simple as matching someone's name to a birth certificate).

This is very impressing, especially for someone like me, a complete computer moron.

But the data is pure disappointment. they have an additional 4000+ applications each day and only have 800 workers to work on them. Hope you guys get approved very soon, like tomorrow!
