Approved DACA Students

Any of you live in a state that doesn't grant us in-state tuition? If so have you heard if after being approved, we will qualify for in-state tuition? I have heard a lot of NO's but has anybody actually contacted somebody at the colleges they want to attend and asked them personally? I know for a fact that they are leaving it to states to decide just like with DL's.

Some colleges would pay up the difference between in state and out state tuition if you maintain a high gpa; around 3.7

I had a straight "No" despite what I told the counselor at my university about being approved, having a social security and carrying a valid EAD. It was one of the most depressing days but I plan to go to dean next week because I don't plan on giving up.

I was not denied admission. I've been enrolled since last fall. They just told me it was impossible for me to get instate tuition. It's a public university and I live in Virginia.
