Hello Im New but We R the Same

Hello everyone.

My name is Jose Garcia. I have been in this beautiful country since 1994. I have have graduated elementary, middle school, and high school here in California. I tried going to college but neither I nor my family can afford it. I have worked before and I have always done my taxes with my ITIN#. I have kept many records til today so one I day i may present my case. The time is now but now that i am ready i am concerned. My concern and question is, where do i stand if i have worked here in the US but have always done my taxes with my ITIN? I have tried searching through all the forums but I can not find a straight answer. Can someone please help who has gone through the same situation.

I would also like to say congratulations to everyone who has gotten accepted. We all have been through a lot but now it is our time to shine. Lets bring this country together and show the country what we have to offer. The passion and heart to be a part and one day better our United States.

Please help. :( Idk what to do.

Hello. I have worked with a fake SSN that i did not steal from someone but just made it up on the spot. When it comes to doing my taxes I have always used my ITIN #. Will working with a random SSN harm me in any way of getting approved?

There is a few previous threads that deal with this issue, ill see if i can find it for you. But as far as I have read on here it will NOT affect you. Once you do get approved you will have to contact the IRS and tell them to withdraw your ITIN # and switch an credit/tax history you have to your new SSN #. When it comes to getting DACA approved, on the I-76ws which you have to write in your income and expenses and explain them many of the dreamers on here have admitted to working illegally and have been approved. The USCIS has said that the evidence that you use to fulfill the requirements will be confidential and not sent to ICE, so you should have nothing to worry about.

YES!!!!!!!! Thank you. I have been looking for the threads in the forums but no luck. Sad to say I havent worked in a year but at least i am now happy knowing i wont get rejected right away. That being said with all the information this website has provided I seen no reason I can not get approved :D

One advice, do not ever claim that you are a US Citizen, that's whole load of trouble for you if you did.
