Welcome Fabiola,

Although many can't attend college, there are things to do to help you prepare for whatever is next. If finding a job is not posssible, I would suggest working with the local community... for example, on one summer I taught ESL at the local community center.

hola faviola

i know the feeling of not knowing where to turn now..........
the way i did it was to apply to the university as a foreign student.......... in TX they don't care if you are documented or not as long as you can pay the tuition. in tx there is a waiver for Mexican students to pay in state tuition so that has been a great help. i only qualify for state funds not federal funds when it comes to financial aid. I get some financial aid to cover tuition about $2000 a semester and usually have to pay books out of my own pocket. I work hard to keep my grades up so that i continually get my financial aid.
i don't know how things work where your at. i recommend you go talk to the foreign student advisor at the university you want to attend..........
hope things work out
best of luck

hi, nice to meet ya. are you a senior at HS or college?

If you HS senior then you have much time in front of you. If you're in good academic standings apply for national universities if you have the money or state colleges if you dont. Community colleges is a fallback.

wow... i was in the same situation a year ago... I live in FL, i tried at the Colleges/Universities around here, but no hope :(
I guess all there is left is to get a job, that's what I did... but I'm still waiting, I know I belong in college... we all do!!!

Good luck
