Notice on the USCIS case status page
I have seen this message on USCIS's website since yesterday. Why this is happening right now? We have always been able to view our existing status as soon as we get a receipt number. Does it affect the existing cases?

Re: Notice on the USCIS case status page
What I am understanding is suppose your case gets approved it won't be updated that it was approves for 30-45 days and will remain the same status
Or idk |
Re: Notice on the USCIS case status page
I've been seeing the same thing, I was wondering what that was about.

Re: Notice on the USCIS case status page
I think the message is for those who have not been able to check their status online at all. For example many people, myself included, had receipt numbers that wouldn't seem to work. It always said "CASE NOT FOUND." I think USCIS received many calls in regards to that and put that message up to explain that cases may not be available for viewing right away.

Re: Notice on the USCIS case status page
it means that ONCE you FILE your case with USCIS, it can take up to 45 days for your case to appear on the USCIS website.
it could be because the number of applications as a whole, not just DACA applications has gone up and USCIS is not processing them as fast. |
Re: Notice on the USCIS case status page
But how come it jumps up so much, in the past few years when I get my receipt numbers I can always see them online immediately.

People really need to slowly read and understand the text before creating new threads about some phrase they didn't understand.
