Re: certificate of performance?

do you have your transcripts? it should have a completion date on there. like my transcript has June 12, 2001 as my completion date even though we graduated on June 13th.

attendance records would be good too.

USCIS may also think that because you didnt pass that one class, that you didnt graduate. did you ever re-take the class? like in summer school or something?

The only thing that concerns me is that they might not be familiar with a certificate of performance. That is kind of a lame thing for school districts to do. I would speak to a lawyer through a nonprofit maybe email one of the attorneys at NILC.

You didn't graduate if you do not have a high school diploma, you didn't pass that class which apparently was importan

Certificate of performance is just that. Why would you not retake that class and pass it during a summer course or find other means to complete what you needed to complete?

You need a state Diploma or GED.

Challenge your high school studies and take a diploma equivallent exam. Good luck.

a simple google gives you facts.

Students who do not pass all the required tests but have met all other graduation requirements may be eligible for a Certificate of Performance or a Special Education Diploma. Students who have left school with a Certificate of Performance or a Special Education Diploma may return to attempt the graduation test(s) again, as often as necessary to qualify for a high school diploma.

that's from the state of Georgia, do your research.
