Heading down to SD with friends

Out of all my friends heading down there (8-10 of us are going, and friend is renting a van) I am the only undocumented one with them, the rest are US citizens, and on another note I haven't started up my DACA application. Should I be worried? By the way I'm Filipino.

No there's nothing to worry about, that's the last thing you want on your mind when you're out with your friends trying to have a good time. Enjoy and make the best of it!

I presume when he's detained by ICE you'll be there to help him out?

There are 2 checkpoints. The one most commonly passed through is the one in San Clemente. Sometimes you get waived right through and sometimes they stop and check. Do you have your daca receipts yet?

Here you go the 5 and the 15 are the most common.

He hasn't even filed his application yet.

I wouldn't risk it. Just because they can't deport you because you qualify for DACA doesn't mean they won't detain you.

Excuse my French but I really wouldn't listen to these idiots.. If shit hits the fan.. They won't get you out of it.. Take the risk and you could very well be on your way back to your birthplace.. There's always time for fun after you handle your business.
