How long does it take to get NY non-driver ID?

I am a New York state DACA applicant. I am planning to bring my EAD, SSN, school ID/bank statement to my local DMV to apply for my non-drive State ID. How long does it take? And what is the overall process? Do I just grab a MV-44 form , fill it up and show my documents to the staff and then wait for them to mail in the ID card?

Yup.. Well in my case I got my Learner's Permit so I had to take a test.. You dont need to take a test so yup pretty much fill out the form show your proof and there should be a fee. I paid 75... look up dmv in NY (fees)
