Re: Just for Arizona people
I doubt that they will mistakenly give you an ID or DL now that this has become such a big issue in Arizona. The DMV workers are probably now trained to spot and deny C33 EAD applicants from applying.
But hey, you can give it a shot. You won't get in trouble, the DMV worker will most likely just tell you that you can't apply. |
Re: Just for Arizona people
jan brewer has your department of motor vehicles watched over for this sort of thing, all employees probably received extra training, you know because they need to know what category c33 means.
so i highly doubt you're going to get anywhere. i hope the state gets slapped with a huge lawsuit where every single dreamer who resides in that state gets compensation for her pendejadas. when she finally decides to give you guys license she's going to mark them in a very obvious way... DA needs to pass so she can stfu. |
Re: Just for Arizona people
Get a license in Cali, or any other surrounding state, we had like 1 person on the forum get his license in Arizona with C33 EAD right after DACA came into effect, but it was later suspended, not sure what happened to him later.

Re: Just for Arizona people
Yeah, Jan Brewer is a pain in the XXX!!! I think the day she announced "no DL to dreamer", she also mentioned "no public assistance/medicare/etc" as well. However, few months ago I read it on a local newspaper that Maricopa county college are considering letting dreamers pay for in-state tuition instead of out of state tuition...Thank God there's people that have common senses.
On the other notes, I have a different situation. Prior to the DEF ACTION, through a friend's help, I was able to get DL from New Mexico. It will expired in 2015 and now that I have my EAD and all, I am thinking to go to Cali to apply their DL . I am not intending to relocate to Cali, I only wanted to have their DL as it will have longer expiration time, plus Cali DL looks better more legit than the one from New Mexico!!! I have a friend who is willing to let me use his address, and I am just wondering as when I get to the DMV at Cali, should I ask to transfer a DL from out of state? or just apply a new Cali DL? Any thoughts, dreamers?? |
